TL;DR
I had fun building this blog and the underlying engine, but for several reasons I decided to go back to the static site camp. So, I moved this blog here: you'll find all the posts I've published here and more.

Building this site has been a fun learning experience, but I've realized that the result would be served equally well by a static website. Comments can be made through Disqus and there is really nothing here that couldn't have been produced by a static site generator.
Moreover, having plain Markdown files and other assets versioned with git is much more flexible and secure than blobs sitting in a database somewhere.
There are other minor reasons, but the point is that for the time being a simple static site will be enough. I've found a good workflow using Hakyll (since I'm learning Haskell it's also a good learning opportunity) and BitBalloon as my hosting provider. Probably something I'll blog about at some point ;)
I've also finally registered a dedicated domain, so this should be the last move :)
Thank you, and see you at the new site!
